Whether it is an external move, an internal move or an inter-office move our experienced Move Management Team will coordinate and oversee every detail. From an initial analysis to onsite project management, HBI consistently develops move plans that fit our clients' budgets and timelines. We can provide efficient coordination for relocating personnel, furnishings, equipment and accessories within existing office space or to a new location. All with minimal disruption during a transition period and allowing our customers to focus on their business.
Our Customer Service department can also help you coordinate moves related to internal restructuring and relocation. This means organizing meetings, assigning move responsibilities, packing, signage, labels, floor plans, equipment, manpower, and vehicles as needed. In addition to our move management services HBI can provide your project with short and long-term furniture rental, as well as short and long-term storage in our fully secured warehouse in Calgary as required.
Delivery & Installation
With full-time installers, delivery trucks, equipment, tools and storage facilities HBI successfully delivers and installs furniture for each of our manufacturers. Our Installation Team and Service Technicians are fully trained and certified. They have the ability and experience to blend all kinds of furniture elements with installs, disassembles, moves and re-installs as required. Our uniformed and insured professionals understand that you have to keep working and will do our best to minimize the disruption to your business. Our team is equipped with proper specialty tools needed for maximum efficiency on any size of delivery and office furniture installation including providing the appropriate protection to your premises.
Our team can also help with wood refinishing, touch-ups, and other specialized services. All HBI movers and installers are certified in compliance with manufacturers’ standards for all makes and models. We can work with installation drawings. Our team has the capability and familiarity with meeting each clients’ unique needs.

Storage Asset & Management
Whether it is the temporary storage of your products as you move to a new location or expand an existing one, or continued storage due to your business needs; HBI can provide short-term and long-term options. We have a fully secured, alarmed, well-lit, environmentally controlled, and fully racked storage and distribution facility. With both long-term storage and distribution being in the same facility it means that your product is always monitored in-person for extra peace of mind, not just sitting in an off-site warehouse.
Our warehouse is professionally managed and features three dock height bay doors with a drive up door for easy access to the building. This allows the HBI Team to develop an asset-management system that is customized for you, allowing you to access your assets as you require. HBI has the ability to create a record of each item stored in our warehouse, catalogued per client, which is then mapped to a specific location should you choose. Our Warehouse Team can easily pull orders from storage and prepare them for shipment when and where you need.
Service & Maintenance
If it's broken, we can fix it! For 25 years, HBI has been providing service and maintenance to hundreds of our clients for their furniture repair needs, extending the life of existing systems. This includes the creation of an on-site maintenance program that is tailored to the needs of our clients and their facilities. Whether it's picking up furniture that requires service on an as-needed basis, having our service team come to your offices on weekly scheduled appointments, or unexpected emergencies that require immediate on-call attention, our service team will respond accordingly with our finest.

To ensure the quickest response to our clients, HBI utilizes a fully automated online service request form. Requests are acknowledged immediately via an automated response, complete with tracking number. Requests are received directly by our Service Coordinator, who will make contact with our clients as indicated by their time frames, or as soon as possible. One of our highly skilled Service Technicians will then be dispatched. Typically, this takes place within 48 hours of the initial request.
